Cortém Wines is not just an ordinary winery. It is a portuguese, traditional and premium winery located in a small village called Cortém (one hour outside of Lisbon, Portugal) where my grandparents were lucky enough to live their all lives.  

This land has a personal meaning and the new owner of the winery invited me to create a new and more up-to-the-date logo for the the beloved brand, but with one condition, the concept should both mix the traditional and premium identity of the wine. 

Inspired by the big wooded barrel in the front door of the Winery, I created a design using its wood marks and this was the final result of the logo.
